 Chris Tolentino is an original Pop/Rock singer, songwriter, and musician from Maryland. He has written and recorded over 100 songs to date. His songs have been featured on compilation CD’s with Iggy Pop, The Thrills, O.A.R., Al Green, The Bloody Lovelies, etc. as well as internet radio stations across the globe. 

Chris began his music career as the lead singer and bass player for the Alternative Rock band SmudgeProof in 1999. After touring for 3 years, SmudgeProof released one full-length CD and showcased a final performance at the Millennium Music Conference in 2001. Since 2001, Chris has embarked on a solo-career that has seen many achievements and 4 full length CD releases. Songs from his debut CD have been featured on Indie and college radio stations throughout the U.S. Then in 2003 Chris released his second CD, and the track “My Addiction” was featured on the Kid Antrim compilation CD. To date though the biggest release is from his third CD entitled ‘Friday Night Disco’, the song “Carry Me On” was runner-up in the 2004 VH1 song of the year contest, and was featured on the One Way Magazine (issue #6) CD compilation in Los Angeles. In January 2009, and after a 5 year hiatus Chris released the CD entitled 'East To West'. The songs were inspired while traveling to different places across the US. Released for 2012 are his latest compilations, 'Summer Samba' featuring 9 instrumental Jazz/Fusion tracks and 'Radio Jam' containing 8 Rock Instrumentals. From 2017-2020 Chris teamed up with vocalist and songwriting talent Cyrus Keefer and vocalist Kayla Rae, to form the band Airwaves Spectacular!  Airwaves Spectacular released 4 albums, and the songs are a must for any music library!
